65-inch OLEDs are under $1,000 ahead of Black Friday
"Something that I'm seeing more often as we get closer to Black Friday is the rise of sub-$1,000 65-inch OLEDs. It used to be that 55 inches was the biggest OLED TV you could typically buy without passing the $1K threshold. But, despite this being a year marked by rising tech prices and tariffs, you actually have a couple options when it comes to saving on big, contrast-rich TVs that'll make you never want to leave your living room. Best Buy has two discounted models I want to tell you about: the Samsung S84F, which is now $949.99, and the LG B5, which costs $50 more at $999.99."
"Samsung's S84F is a Best Buy-exclusive version of the S85F, which is currently $200 more. This model cuts out the QD-OLED technology that brightens the image and boosts colors, but the presence of an OLED panel at all still makes this a tremendous value. It has four HDMI 2.1 ports and a 120Hz refresh rate screen."
Sub-$1,000 65-inch OLED TVs are becoming more common as Black Friday approaches. Best Buy is discounting two notable models: the Samsung S84F at $949.99 and the LG B5 at $999.99. The Samsung S84F is a Best Buy-exclusive variant of the S85F that omits QD-OLED technology but retains an OLED panel, four HDMI 2.1 ports, and a 120Hz refresh rate. The LG B5 positions itself as a more affordable alternative to the higher-end C5 while offering many of the same features and four HDMI 2.1 ports. Rising tech prices and tariffs have not removed accessible large OLED options.
