Young Jains UK, a charity based in Stanmore, north-west London, has been awarded £500 from the Redrow Community Fund. This funding will support their various community initiatives, including musical events, quiz nights, study sessions, and a book club, which aim to foster social connections and a sense of belonging among residents. Established in 1987, Young Jains UK is committed to promoting the Jain spiritual philosophy in a way that is relevant to everyday life. Redrow's funding initiative aims to improve community life through support to various local organizations.
This will help us continue our mission, the charity's Shaileen Shah said. Our work is about creating connections with a sense of belonging in the community.
