Verizon Wireless stores will offer free backpacks on July 27 as part of the 13th annual 'School Rocks Backpack Giveaway.' Over 1,200 Wireless Zone and TCC locations across the country will distribute more than 140,000 backpacks to students. The event concludes Round Room's month-long 'Stuff the Bus' school supply drive, where communities compete to collect school supplies. The community with the most donations will receive a bus filled with $40,000 worth of supplies. Round Room has donated over 1.5 million backpacks since 2013, providing relief to families facing back-to-school expenses.
