On March 13, Cornell's 11th Giving Day garnered over $11.2 million in donations from a record 17,591 donors, surpassing previous years' milestones. This space-themed event, attended by 1,620 students at various campus activities, saw contributions supporting 765 funds across diverse university sectors. Notably, 2,122 gifts were made by students who wanted to give back to programs that impacted their experiences. Alumni and individuals from all 50 states and 67 countries participated, showcasing a collective commitment to enhancing Cornell's educational mission during challenging times for higher education.
