Esteban was traveling to Guatemala with siblings to visit family, the GoFundMe said, where the 12-year-old boy and his grandmother died in a car accident "as they voyaged on a long-awaited road trip together."
What was supposed to be a memorable and joyful trip turned into a devastating experience for the family," the GoFundMe said. "We ask that the Lynn community join this family in thoughts and prayers as they await the body of their son Bradley to arrive back into the United States for a last goodbye.
