Inspirational Hornchurch three-year-old with cerebral palsy takes on 5km trike ride
Briefly

Mia North is raising money for the family-run charity Wipe Away Those Tears by riding 5km on her trike around Hylands Park. Supported by her mother, Jemma, Mia's fundraising efforts have garnered over £800 in just over a week. Wipe Away Those Tears provided Mia with a specially adapted trike, enabling her to experience cycling despite her cerebral palsy. Jemma expressed gratitude for the charity's impact on Mia's life, emphasizing the importance of helping other children in similar situations gain access to necessary resources and freedom.
Mia is really, really excited about it. She looks out for others and is really generous. She's got such a kind soul.
Something that we never thought she'd be able to do is ride a bike, so it's opened up a lot of possibilities.
It would be good to help other children just like Mia to be able to get something like she's got that can help with physio or give them their freedom.
Wipe Away Those Tears bought Mia her trike, allowing her to keep her feet in place on the pedals, something she would not be able to do on a standard bike.
