Iveco Bus leads the market with 198 E-Way registrations, capturing nearly 50% of the newly registered e-buses. Their dominance exemplifies a strong foothold in the French e-bus sector despite the drop in overall registrations.
Among the three major brands, about 80% of the new e-bus registrations came from Iveco, Bluebus, and Mercedes-Benz, showing significant competition among them for market share.
The investment from Daimler Truck into the production of eCitaro buses in France is notable; it signifies efforts towards enhancing local e-bus manufacturing capabilities, with the first unit produced in July 2024.
