Considering how fast I fell, I'm glad I didn't suffer any broken bones. After the fall I had to recover quickly, but I am relieved that it's not worse.
Amid the chaos surrounding the stage finish, sports manager Danny Stam mentioned that radio issues contributed to the team's struggle to assist Vollering effectively.
Despite falling to ninth place and losing the yellow jersey, Vollering maintained a sense of humor during her recovery, posting tongue-in-cheek comments on social media.
