A no-fly exclusion zone was visible around Paris during the 2024 Olympics opening ceremony, with three Paris airports closed and a no-fly zone the size of Belgium imposed.
Almost all planes were banned from flying in an 80 nautical mile radius centered on Notre-Dame cathedral, allowing only specific authorized flights.
