Israeli air attack kills at least two in southern Lebanon
Israeli air attacks killed two people and injured another in Deir Amas in Lebanon’s Tyre district. Additional raids struck Braiqaa in the south, destroying two homes. Strikes across southern and eastern Lebanon the previous day killed at least 31 people and injured 40 others. Further attacks hit Machgharah in the western Bekaa and targeted the strategic Qaraoun Dam. An air attack in Burj Shemali killed several people, including two children and three women, and wounded 16 others. Evacuation and forced displacement orders were issued for Nabatieh city and dozens of towns and villages in the south and east, warning residents to move north ahead of attacks. Netanyahu said a large ground force was pushing deep to seize areas and fortify a security zone.
