France's four main left-leaning and green parties have formed an alliance, the New Popular Front, to run a single list of candidates together in snap elections to counter the far right.
The alliance is named after the Popular Front of 1936 and includes Unbowed France (LFI) led by Jean-Luc Melenchon, advocating for far-left policies like constitutional reform, renewable energy, and more.
