A tornado was reported in the Pas-de-Calais in northern France, damaging about 15 homes in Lestrem, a village of about 5,000 inhabitants. Winds reached about 120km/h, making this an EF0 event.
New Zealand faced severe weather with strong winds, heavy rain, and thunderstorms. Rainfall totals reached almost 250mm with snow warnings in Southland.
