The Finance Ministry said the suspension will last as long as necessary and ministers will conduct an initial review within 48 hours. French consumer watchdogs flagged listings of 'childlike' sex dolls, stating product descriptions suggested a child-like pornographic nature. Shein temporarily suspended third-party seller listings in France and stated customer safety and marketplace integrity are top priorities. Shein expressed a desire to engage in dialogue with French authorities as soon as possible.
