The event took place on a flat circuit in varying temperatures, presenting challenges to all 141 participants who started the race on April 28 and concluded on May 4.
Eckert ran at an average pace of 4.12 miles per hour for six days, breaking Camille Herron's previous record by 42.7 miles. Her achievement is remarkable, nearing the men's American six-day record.
Zaborsky ran at an average pace of 4.52 miles per hour, narrowly surpassing Matthieu Bonne's record by just 1.24 miles. His impressive performance led to a tense last day of the race.
