Approximately 20 French boats departed from Marseille to join an international flotilla aimed at delivering humanitarian aid to Gaza and breaking the Israeli blockade. The flotilla, consisting of around 100 boats, is set to sail towards Gaza around April 20th after a week-long stop in southern Italy for non-violence training. Crew members emphasize the need to increase visibility for Palestine amid current international issues. The Gaza Strip has been under an Israeli blockade since 2007, with ongoing tensions between Israel and Hamas.
