These things are HUGE. I was able to fit a comforter and a sheet set in one. In another I packed all of our summer stuff: swimsuits, coverups, and like 10 beach towels. They haven't lost any suction yet and they've allowed us a LOT more space in our hall closet. I think next time I'll buy one size smaller.
Unfortunately an errant tube of toothpaste caused my carry-on to be examined at Heathrow. As soon as the luggage was opened, I heard the traveler behind me whisper to her partner, 'Ooh, she used those vacuum bags we saw on TV and she brought the pump with it.' I was able to pack seven days of outfits, a pair of sneakers and souvenirs in my carry-on bag because of this nice product. I recommend.
