Steph Curry, Michael Mina team up for SF restaurant, bar project
Briefly

Michael Mina and Steph Curry will open a new Bourbon Steak restaurant and a bourbon-focused bar inside the Westin St. Francis Hotel at San Francisco's Union Square in October. The hotel, the Mina Group and Curry's Gentleman's Cut released the news in a joint statement. The project returns Mina to Union Square, where he opened his first restaurant at the St. Francis in 2004. Mina currently operates 18 restaurants across the Bay Area and beyond. Mina previously operated two South Bay locations—a Bourbon Steak at Levi's Stadium and Arcadia in San Jose—that have since closed. The Mina Group plans to hire about 150 employees.
Years after acclaimed chef Michael Mina partnered with Ayesha Curry on San Francisco's International Smoke restaurant, he's teaming up with the other Curry on a hospitality venture. In October, the pair will debut a new Bourbon Steak restaurant from Mina and a bourbon-driven bar from Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry inside the Westin St. Francis Hotel at San Francisco's Union Square.
The project represents a return to Union Square for Mina, who opened his eponymous first restaurant inside the St. Francis in 2004. In the intervening years, Mina has opened and operated several other restaurants in the Bay and beyond, with 18 currently open. For years he operated two in the South Bay, a Bourbon Steak at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara and Arcadia in downtown San Jose, both now closed. The Mina Group expects to hire 150 employees for the new restaurant.
