"After opening a second outpost of Speedboat Bar in Notting Hill in the summer, Luke Farrell is now gearing up to open another branch of his southern Thai restaurant Plaza Khao Gaeng. The venue, part of the Chaiyo Restaurants group (run by Farrell with JKS Restaurants), is opening in Borough Yards this November, and will follow the same format as the original site in Arcade Food Hall on Tottenham Court Road."
"That means 'curry over rice', as per the name 'khao gaeng', and southern Thai dishes made with hyper-seasonal produce from Farrell's own Ryewater Nursery. We don't have a full menu yet for the Borough branch of Plaza yet but we'd expect to see dishes like the super spicy Khua Kling Muu (wok-fried pork with chillies and long pepper), coconut & cashew miang, beef shoulder massaman, and sour orange curry of sea bass on the menu, and Snakeblood Negronis and Singha beer towers on the drinks list."
