Goldburger opened in Granada Hills on August 25 in a former Frosty Queen drive-thru, representing the brand's third location and a longtime goal for owner Allen Yelent. The shop quietly soft-opened to train staff and introduce its menu to locals. The menu matches Los Feliz and Highland Park offerings with single and double smash burgers, a six-ounce bar burger, Reuben, patty melt, hot pastrami, a mushroom-and-oat vegetarian patty, and curly or standard fries. Soft serve and milkshakes use organic Strauss Family Creamery milk. The dining room seats 22 with a 30-seat patio, and the drive-thru is not yet operational.
Los Angeles smash burger spot Goldburger expanded to Granada Hills on August 25, opening in a former Frosty Queen drive-thru. The new location fulfills a lifelong dream for owner Allen Yelent, who has told Eater a Goldburger near his hometown of Chatsworth had been on his wish list for a long time. This is the third location for the smash burger specialist; Yellent shuttered its Chinatown shop earlier this summer on August 3.
The menu at Goldburger Granada Hills is the same as at the Los Feliz and Highland Park locations, featuring a standard single or double patty smash burger, a thick six-ounce bar burger, a Reuben, a patty melt, hot pastrami, and a mushroom and oat vegetarian patty, plus curly or standard fries. Soft serve and milkshakes, made with organic milk from Strauss Family Creamery, are available in chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and crushed Oreo. Yelent says he plans to add breakfast sandwiches and burritos.
