Oddfellows Ice Cream and Incredifulls collaborated to create the limited-time Incredifulls Sundae. The sundae features a scoop of classic Oddfellows vanilla topped with shaved parmesan, fresh basil and a Graza olive oil drizzle. Availability runs from Friday, August 22 (noon–5pm) through Friday, August 29 at the Oddfellows Dumbo, Brooklyn location. A public launch event on August 22 will offer free Margherita Pizza Cups from Incredifulls, which contain real mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and oregano baked into a flaky dough cup. The Pizza Cupcake will not be included with the sundae after launch day. Local ice cream shops have previously experimented with pizza-inspired flavors.
The sweet-and-savory menu addition is a collaboration between Oddfellows and Incredifulls, the makers of the as-seen-on- Shark- Tank Pizza Cupcake. Starting this Friday, August 22nd from noon to 5pm and running until Friday, August 29 at the Oddfellows location in Dumbo, Brooklyn, curious ice cream lovers can try their spoon at the limited-time-only Incredifulls Sundae, which consists of a scoop of old-school Oddfellows vanilla ice cream topped with shaved parmesan, fresh basil and a Graza olive oil drizzle.
And to further celebrate the new sundae, Oddfellows will be hosting an open-to-the-public launch event this Friday where attendees can enjoy free Margherita Pizza Cups from Incredifulls-no, there's no frosting involved here but rather real mozzarella, fresh tomatoes and a hint of oregano baked into a fluffy, flaky dough cup. Sounds like just the thing you want to dip into parmesan-laced ice cream.
When it comes to the flavors at Oddfellows Ice Cream, we're used to the, well, last we heard from the NYC-born scoops shop, they were whipping up a breast milk-inspired concoction. (Don't worry, no actual human boobs were harmed in the making of that one.) And that goofy ice cream-churning gang is still going, albeit with a slightly more, uh, palatable new option: a pizza sundae. And yes, there is parmesan involved.
