On November 1 Novak Djokovic launched Cob Foods with entrepreneur Jessica Davidoff to make sorghum-based snacks and pantry staples. The first product is a popped sorghum snack Davidoff developed while trying to replicate popcorn for her son, who developed a severe corn allergy. Djokovic invested in the company aligned with his long-standing emphasis on nutrition following a 2009 diagnosis of gluten allergy and leaky gut syndrome that led him to eliminate gluten, dairy, and refined sugar. He reports that those dietary changes resolved gut issues and improved performance and recovery. Djokovic emphasizes whole, nutritious foods as essential fuel.
