New York is getting its first-ever booze free festival this month
"RECOMMENDED: NYC's 10 best mocktails and where to find them But this festival goes way beyond just beverages-the Drinks with Benefits food hall will host three omakase style courses curated by top chefs from Spring Cafe Aspen, The Butcher's Daughter, Adoro Lei and Seatopia. And don't miss the Cipriani Cafe as their chefs will be serving up complimentary pasta tastings, paired with their original boozy-free Bellini mocktail, Bellini Zero."
"There will also be a Drink Rhythms Lounge-a bohemian-inspired space where curated non-alcoholic pours meet all-day DJ sets. Come for the drinks and stay to hear sets from DJ Maku, DJ Bellatrix, DJCCNY, Donna Francesca and Mona Matsuoka. Or head down to the lower-level beer garden for live DJ sets fueled by alcohol-free beers and hemp beverages. If you're looking to mingle, join the exclusive Surf Dating VIP Section where singles can meet while sipping on zero-proof drinks of the future."
Drinks with Benefits takes place at The Altman Building on Saturday, September 27 as New York's first zero-proof festival. Over 50 non-alcoholic brands will participate in a Tasting Gallery that invites sampling and conversation with beverage innovators. The one-day event includes a mixology lab with guided tasting flights and mocktail demonstrations from brands such as Fluere, The Alchemist's Kitchen, and The Pathfinder. The food hall will present three omakase-style courses from top chefs and Cipriani Cafe will offer complimentary pasta tastings paired with a Bellini Zero. Additional activations include a Drink Rhythms Lounge with all-day DJ sets, a lower-level beer garden, and a Surf Dating VIP section for mingling.
