Six months after Rock Bottom Brewery closed its 30-year run in Campbell, Laughing Monk Brewing signed a deal to open a new location in The Pruneyard. Laughing Monk is a local brewery with four Bay Area locations: Sunnyvale, Scotts Valley and two in San Francisco, including a separate taproom. The brewery is known for a variety of craft beers, drinks and a welcoming ambiance. A Regency Centers spokesperson confirmed a deal was signed with the brewmaster but provided no opening date. City officials welcomed the addition and cited the brewery's strong craft program and food offerings.
