Michelin announced DC's latest round of starred and Bib Gourmand restaurants at a Philadelphia ceremony. The Inn at Little Washington, previously the region's only three star establishment, was downgraded from three to two stars, joining Masa and Alinea in downgrades. Aside from Reverie's closure, no other starred restaurants in DC were added or removed. Two DC establishments — Your Only Friend (Shaw) and PhoXotic (Bloomingdale) — were newly added to the Bib Gourmand selections. The published lists reaffirmed the region's two-star and one-star rosters across neighborhoods including Penn Quarter, Shaw, Capitol Hill, Adams Morgan, and Union Market.
