Little Pickle returned after the Esplanade owners received numerous calls asking when the deli would reopen. Little Pickle opened permanently over the summer as a mostly take-out shop with a handful of dine-in tables. Menu highlights include "The Works" bagel with smoked salmon, cream cheese, red onion and capers; the bagel offers a crunchy texture and plentiful house-smoked lox. Phillips and partner Peter Hearn opened The Mercer next door and plan to open Camello later this year.
