Lewis Barbecue, the Texas-style smokehouse founded by pitmaster John Lewis, is expanding into Raleigh with an 8,276-square-foot location at Salvage Yard in the Raleigh Iron Works district. The space will include a 1,625-square-foot outdoor smokehouse for authentic Central Texas barbecue preparation and public viewing. Recently recognized by the MICHELIN Guide with a Bib Gourmand Award, Lewis Barbecue will serve signature items such as brisket, housemade sausage, and handcrafted smokers. The new location joins a roster of dining and entertainment tenants and aims to strengthen Salvage Yard's role as a culinary, music, and cultural destination.
