Koloman will close its Ace Hotel location on Saturday, August 30 and plans to reopen in Noho in the spring, with no exact address announced. Chef and partner Markus Glocker led Koloman after it opened in 2022 in the space that had been the Breslin. The dining area was entirely transformed and the menu combined French technique with Austrian heritage to produce refined, original dishes. The restaurant featured artistically plated presentations, a wine list favoring Champagnes, and warm service. Koloman operated in partnership with EHV International, and Glocker previously helped earn Michelin recognition at Bâtard and in Gordon Ramsay kitchens.
Koloman has enjoyed a great run at the Ace Hotel,
We are now embarking on the next phase of our journey. We believe the Koloman menu and experience will be easily translatable and similarly loved in a new spot.
Koloman ... is the kind of restaurant the city rarely sees nowadays,
It offers dishes artistically plated with Paul Klee colors, a thoughtful wine list favoring Champagnes, and service that might be deemed stuffy if it weren't so warm.
