Guy Fieri gives update on injury that landed him in a wheelchair
""the greatest achievement I've ever had in my career.""
""I'll be dead, and this foundation will have its own money, it's own trajectory,""
""You're never going to die, by the way,""
""I'll be back in the crutches like I am now!""
Guy Fieri suffered a November fall that ruptured his quadriceps, required emergency surgery, and left him using a wheelchair and crutches. The injury forced him to miss his Guy Fieri Foundation's annual Thanksgiving meal giveaway. The injury occurred while filming Flavor Town Food Fight. His career includes popular Food Network shows such as Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Guy's Grocery Games, along with the Flavortown brand and Santo Tequila, co-founded with Sammy Hagar. The Guy Fieri Foundation prepares free ready-to-heat meals for needy families at Thanksgiving and travels to disasters to feed emergency responders, with plans to continue operating in perpetuity.
