Gordon Ramsay sampled a 10-inch dessert pizza topped with chocolate, strawberries, and bacon and reacted with strong disgust, comparing the pizza to someone wiping a mess on the dough and spitting out a bite. He voiced that the dessert looked unappetizing and suggested the sweet-to-meat ratio may have been off. Ramsay also stated that pineapple does not belong on pizza and sparked controversy for that view. He does accept some sweet-and-salty combinations, endorsing salted caramel and sharing recipes on his YouTube channel.
