A jargarita repurposes the leftover jam in a mostly empty jam jar as the sweetening element in a margarita. Any jam flavor can be used, with recommendations including Crofter's strawberry, seedless raspberry, blackberry, prickly pear jelly, marmalade, or hot pepper jelly for a spicy version. The jar should contain at least about one tablespoon of jam. Combine 2 ounces tequila, 1 ounce Cointreau or triple sec, and 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice with the jam, seal the jar and shake, then add ice, shake again, and serve. Keep recycled jam jars on hand when making multiple servings.
