The initial health inspection found major violations including cockroaches and inadequate sanitizing procedures. Environmental Health Director Dr. Marilyn C. Underwood reported that the owner has taken steps to address problems and that the restaurant has been cleared to reopen while additional issues are still being worked on. The employee seen in the video has been fired. The owner, Uyen Tran, expressed shock and acknowledged public outrage.
