Portland Mercury's Wing Week runs Monday, September 29 through Sunday, October 5 and features one-of-a-kind chicken wings at over 80 Portland bars and restaurants. Each order of specialty wings costs $10. Participating chefs create globally inspired, inventive wing flavors that range hot, sweet, smoky, sour, and combinations thereof. Jim Beam and Travel Portland sponsor the event. A Wing Week map and downloadable Wing Week pass help visitors plan wing crawls. Attendees are encouraged to tag photos with #mercurywingweek. The event offers photos of featured wings and promotes a weeklong celebration of creative wing preparations.
