Chef Pasquale "Pat" Pascarella, owner of the Porchetta Group, announced the closure and said a new opening is underway, calling the move "just time for a change." Pascarella also operates the White Bull in Decatur and three Grana locations. His casual Italian restaurant Bastone closed in West Midtown in March last year. Recent Atlanta closures include The Blind Pig Parlour, Tin Lizzy's Cantina, and four Ponce City Market stalls. Alici was known for oyster specials, handmade pasta, and wine.
