New items across the resort include a "sweet heat beignet chicken sandwich" at Tiana's Palace, a buffalo chicken sandwich with house-made pickles served on beignets; a Dubai chocolate-inspired strawberry, hazelnut, chocolate and pistachio Mickey shake at Schmoozies topped with fried kataifi; and a Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll macaron, filled with cream cheese buttercream and cinnamon caramel, at the Cappuccino Cart in Disney California Adventure."
"Many of the offerings are part of Disneyland's 70th anniversary celebration, which started last July and runs through this summer. Many of those celebratory menu items were temporarily removed to accommodate Halloween and holiday specialty foods and are now back. Items like the strawberry shortcake macaron at Jolly Holiday Bakery, which the Disney Parks Blog describes as "Vanilla bean buttercream, strawberry jam, fresh strawberry, and strawberry whipped topping with strawberry crunch and a birthday candle," and Red Rose Taverne's "70th Stuff," a twist on the "Beauty and the Beast"-inspired "grey stuff" with raspberry jam, white chocolate mousse and birthday sprinkles, are now back."
