"Honey Saves Hives is a national campaign designed to raise awareness about one of Earth's most precious animals: the honey bee. Backed by The National Honey Board (NHB), the campaign's mission is to educate consumers and chefs alike about the humble honey bee and its crucial impact on the environment. Looking to save the bees? Then you have to see what's buzzing in Dumbo this weekend."
"Vendor specials include hot honey Southern comforts from Jacob's Pickles to sugary sweet treats from Doughnuttery . Even the bar got in on the challenge as honey-forward cocktails include the Royal Hive (vodka, Chambord and lemon) to the Queen's Remedy (gin, Bärenjäger H oney Liqueur, lemon and rosemary syrup) . Hu ngry for honey? Us too. So come on over to the Market and save the bees, one plate at a time."
Time Out Market New York in Dumbo will host the Honey Saves Hives pop-up from September 20–21. The National Honey Board will educate visitors about the honey bee, the role of beekeepers, and the broader ecosystem. A stand near Clinton St. Baking Company will feature a range of honey products and goods. Market chefs curated a honey-forward menu with items such as hot honey Southern comforts from Jacob's Pickles and sweet offerings from Doughnuttery. The bar will serve honey-forward cocktails including the Royal Hive and the Queen's Remedy. Menu items and prices will be available at the Market.
