Wicked: For Good is the sequel to last year's blockbuster starring Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande. The film adapts the stage show's second act, which typically runs about an hour, and extends it to two hours and 17 minutes. Director Jon M. Chu split Wicked into two movies and reimagined the second half to include new scenes for the lead actors. Composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz wrote brand-new songs for the adaptation and brought existing fresh material. One new song, "The Girl in the Bubble," is performed by Ariana Grande as a disillusioned Glinda confronting a "beautiful life built on lies."
