Every year ahead of Oscar night, film critic Richard Brody appears on the New Yorker Radio Hour to present his picks for the year's best films. David Remnick and staff writer Alexandra Schwartz join Brody to examine films that received too little credit, those that received excessive praise, and lesser-known cinematic gems from the year's releases. New episodes of the New Yorker Radio Hour are released on Tuesdays and Fridays. The program is available on Apple, Spotify, Google, and other podcast platforms.
