"Rebel Moon - Part One: A Child of Fire" isn't the first time that Snyder has ostensibly build a movie from scratch, but the difference in scale between the Hot Topic hell cabaret he dreamed up for "Sucker Punch" and the expectation-rattling R-rated "Seven Samurai" remake that customer feedback briefly coaxed him to envision for Netflix — and that his "Justice League" triumph briefly emboldened him to fight for — and the scope Faith, the rebel moon, is suggested to have in the prologue, it's the first time he's aspired to dream up something brand new.
