On Location: Where was 'Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy' filmed?
Briefly

In an interview with director Michael Morris during the premiere of Bridget Jones: Mad About The Boy, he reflects on how London profoundly influences the film. He draws inspiration from classic New York films and aims for a similar connection with the British capital. Morris highlights key locations in the movie, like Hampstead and South Kensington, and strives to present a rich and vibrant depiction of London, which he believes is as much a character in the story as Bridget herself.
I grew up watching... some of my favourites were the early Woody Allen movies like Annie Hall and Manhattan, where you could just see how much New York City was engrained in them.
London, really, is the subject of this film in ways beyond Bridget, so it was important to tell as complete a picture of London as possible.
Hampstead is an important part of the movie... I hope that people coming into the film who don't know it see what a spectacular part of the city it is.
There's so much Englishness to it. So I was thrilled it got a little slice of the film.
