"That's all I can say. That's all I'm gonna say. It happened," he added.
"It was extremely hard. She had several therapists that she was seeing, and her energy level had gotten really low," he said.
"I just feel like I might have overdone it. I was trying to get her to eat. I was trying to get her to exercise."
Strickland said, "the couple were 'wildly, madly, passionately in love' but Strickland was never home."
