Milo Manheim and Meg Donnelly have become executive producers for Zombies 4, enhancing their creative involvement in the film. The new storyline features a rivalry between Daywalkers and Vampires as Zed and Addison serve as camp counselors. Malachi Barton praised the writing team's approach to vampires as friendly and fun-loving. Freya Skye immersed herself in the franchise by repeatedly watching the previous movies to understand its distinctive style. The cast enjoyed bonding through music, game nights, and unique snacks while off-set.
Milo and I, during this entire franchise, we've always loved to talk creatively just about the whole world in general, 'cause we're fans of Zombies as well.
The whole writing team did such an amazing job of turning vampires into this fun-loving, friendly type of monster.
My way of studying was just watching the movies over and over... Zombies has such a distinctive feel to it.
There's always parallels in your own life and the movie that we're shooting. The story is great. We checked all the boxes that were important to us.
