Disclosure Day is an upcoming Steven Spielberg film about a public revelation of extraterrestrial life. The first trailer teases alien implications when Emily Blunt's Kansas City weather forecaster produces clicking noises instead of a normal weather assessment. Universal released only an alien-sounding logline asking whether proof of nonhuman life would frighten people and declaring that the truth belongs to seven billion people. Josh O'Connor, Coleman Domingo, Colin Firth, Wyatt Russell, and Eve Hewson feature in the cast, with O'Connor's character advocating disclosure and encountering government resistance. Spielberg reunites with screenwriter David Koepp. The film opens June 12, 2026.
