Ice Cube stars in a new Minecraft ad as an insurance claims adjuster for players experiencing setbacks in the game. Released following his unsuccessful movie War of the Worlds, which features him largely seated in front of a computer screen, the ad invites players to share clips of their in-game failures. Xbox aims to engage the Minecraft community through this campaign, despite questioning its relevance on platforms like Twitter, especially given Minecraft's prior successes with other major marketing campaigns.

On August 14, Xbox posted a new social media ad starring Ice Cube as an insurance claims adjuster for the game Minecraft.

This is now the second acting role Ice Cube has taken where he just sits in a chair in front of a computer for most of the runtime.
