Gwyneth Paltrow is set to star in Marty Supreme, her first film role since 2019, joining Timothée Chalamet in a movie inspired by ping-pong.
Directed by Josh Safdie, Marty Supreme features a screenplay co-written with Ronald Bronstein. Although plot details are scarce, it's rumored to be inspired by a pro ping-pong player.
In addition to her film return, Paltrow's ski trial controversy has inspired a West End musical called I Wish You Well, reflecting her recent cultural prominence.
Meanwhile, Timothée Chalamet is gaining recognition for his roles in Dune: Part Two and his upcoming portrayal of Bob Dylan in a biopic after Marty Supreme.
