The film is an R-rated, late-1800s-set adventure that emphasizes brutal, violent piracy more akin to a Mafia tale than romanticized amusement-park portrayals. Bodden reclaims her violent past to protect her home and loved ones as desperate, vicious pirates punish escape from their savage work. The film debuts on Prime Video February 25.
