According to Variety, the highly anticipated sci-fi film Dune: Part II is projected to make between $60 million and $80 million in the US for its first weekend.
When the strikes were going on, actors were blocked from doing promotion, and with a film featuring as many big stars as Dune: Part II, that was enough to prompt the studio to delay.
