Walt Disney Animation Studios revealed a logo and a single piece of concept art that evokes Mary Blair's classic Disney artwork and contrasts with recent 3D animation. The concept art, created by Spanish artist Lorelay Bove, uses hand-drawn shapes, ultra-saturated colours, and folk-inspired, Marc Chagall-like magic. Jared Bush announced the film at Destination D23. Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand will direct, with Roy Conli and Juan Pablo Reyes Lancaster-Jones producing. Social media has praised the art while some expect the final film to use contemporary 3D animation.
