"Several Futures couldn't be more honored to help get it out into the world."
"In an increasingly corporate distribution landscape, Several Futures is a breath of fresh air, committed to a forward-thinking, artist-focused exhibition ethos,"
"It's the perfect fit for a film like ours."
Several Futures acquired North American distribution rights for Revelations of Divine Love, Caroline Golum's second feature following A Feast of Man. The 14th-century-set film premiered at FIDMarseille and had its North American premiere at Montreal Critics' Week. Co-written by Golum and Laurence Bond, the film adapts Julian of Norwich's Revelations of Divine Love and features newcomer Tessa Strain as the medieval anchoress. The production emphasizes handcrafted sets, practical effects, and Renaissance fair-inspired costumes, favoring theatricality over strict period accuracy. Several Futures focuses on auteurist and anti-imperialist work. Producer Kate Stahl negotiated the deal; collaborators include cinematographer Gabe Elder and editor Zach Clar.
