Cannes to premiere Jean-Luc Godard film finished the day before he died
Briefly

Scenarios, an 18-minute short by Jean-Luc Godard, will premiere posthumously at Cannes, accompanied by a 34-minute introduction. Godard had planned, directed, and supervised several other films before his death.
Godard's long-time collaborators are working to bring more of his projects to the screen. Fabrice Aragno described Scenarios as having a classic video style with Super-8 images.
Godard's death, following a long career including iconic films like Breathless and Pierrot le Fou, was a result of exhaustion rather than illness, leading to his decision for assisted suicide.
Cannes Classics will feature Scenarios along with premieres of documentaries about Faye Dunaway and Jim Henson, and special presentations of Seven Samurai and The Umbrellas of Cherbourg.
