Yang said the kiss happened "in the heat of the moment," called Grande "really good," and directly confirmed Grande was the better kisser. Yang explained the sketch had to be shot quickly due to time constraints and mentioned an intimacy coordinator who instructed performers to keep lips closed and avoid tongue. Sydney Sweeney's recent film, in which she plays Christy Martin, opened in 2,011 US cinemas and grossed only $1.3 million, receiving mixed critical reaction and criticism from Ruby Rose.
